Dr. J told us how he started out in the ABA and, since we were such good ​young early arriving fans, he gave us seats next to the team. Love ABA.

Ron Tuck

Inducted into the NCA&T Sports Hall of Fame in 1999 for his achievements in ​football, notably as a Black College All-American, he was a dominant force on the ​field, earning National Player of the Week honors six times as a Defensive End. His ​coaching prowess led the A&T defensive line to a MEAC Championship in 2003.

Following his football career, he organized a Street Basketball league and coached ​the Skywalkers Basketball team for several years. As a journeyman professional ​football player, he played from 1975 through 1984.

He has also been a successful entrepreneur, owning Tuck's Construction Co., which ​specializes in plastering, drywall, swimming pools, and security and bodyguard ​protection services. Above all, he is a man of faith and strong Christian values.

With her Business Administration ​degree from William Peace University and her multiple roles in the ​community, including the City of Reidsville Planning Board of ​Adjustments and Lucky City Brewing Board, she's the ultimate multi-​tasker. And did we mention she's also the Worthy Matron of the Beauty ​of Reidsville #477? Tamar is ready to shake things up with the Reidsville ​Reapers and bring some much-needed entertainment to the community.

Reidsville is such a homey-cozy town. It is one of those towns where everyone knows everyone, and everywhere you go, there are smiling faces all around.

Reidsville was officially incorporated by the North Carolina State Legislature in 1873 and became a key location of the American Tobacco Company which employed large numbers of city and county residents.
